Site Safety Engineer
Responsibilities
- Enforce the use of safety equipment/clothing as required by OSHA and company safety regulations.
- Reinforce compliance with the safety requirements of the company among team members and subcontractors on the project site.
- Maintain appropriate safety records.
- Maintain work areas in a neat, safe, and orderly fashion.
- Investigate incidents and complete reports as required.
- Aid the Site Manager in administering counseling to team members and subcontractors who are non-compliant with safety requirements.
- Conduct daily safety meetings.
- Conduct orientation and jobsite-specific training.
- Communicate, implement, and enforce Gray’s safety program on-site.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 5+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- OSHA 30 Hour card.
- Experience in an industrial construction environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite programs.
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
- An energetic, self-motivated individual with a passion for collaboration and professional development.

Requirements
- The position requires travel as projects are scattered throughout the United States and, in some cases, outside the U.S.
- The selected candidate can live anywhere in the USA, but would be required to travel to the project site per Gray’s travel policy.
