Site Safety and Health Officer
About the role
CCI Facility Contractors, LLC is expanding its workforce and is seeking a Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) for federal construction projects, with a focus on electrical infrastructure and substation construction. The SSHO is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and occupational health requirements, conducting safety inspections, and leading incident investigations.
Responsibilities
- Implement, manage, and enforce all safety and occupational health requirements for federal construction projects.
- Conduct site safety inspections, meetings, training, and hazard analyses.
- Review and approve safety submittals and Activity Hazard Analyses.
- Maintain required safety documentation and monitor subcontractor safety compliance.
- Lead incident investigations and manage safety reporting in RMS and Procore.
- Promote a proactive, safety-first culture throughout all phases of construction.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of federal construction experience with NAVFAC, USACE, or Coast Guard.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive construction industry experience in supervising/managing general construction.
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances as required by the task order.
- 24 hours of documented safety-related training every 3 years plus OSHA 30 hour.
- Proficient with EM385 1-1, Procore, and RMS.
- Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The SSHO will work a standard Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional evening and weekend work required for project needs.
