Your Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the site owner for all packaging systems, including primary, secondary, and tertiary (e.g., PE Bags, bottles, drums, IBCs, boxes, pallets)
- Design and optimize packaging solutions, ensuring product protection, chemical compatibility, and cost efficiency
- Partner with technical teams on packaging design and compatibility with product chemistry
- Collaborate with regulatory on UN/DOT compliance
- Collaborate with procurement on supplier selection and qualification
- Support logistics and operations to improve packaging performance in handling, storage, and transportation
- Lead packaging troubleshooting, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
Your Qualification Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in packaging engineering or a related role
- Experience with industrial or chemical product packaging
- Transportation and packaging regulations (UN, DOT, etc.) experience
- Experience with hazardous materials packaging
- Familiarity with IBC, drums, and bulk packaging systems
- Exposure to global packaging operations or supplier networks
- Strong project management and supplier collaboration experience
