Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing the project schedule
• Supervises Quality Control (QC) and ensures compliance with QC requirements
• Coincides Third Party QC services
• Implements RECON’s three phase QC program
• Prepares Daily Production Logs
• Tracks materials
• Performs QC on materials ordered and received
• Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates the technical and management aspects of projects
• Prepares monthly project status reports and change orders
• Budget monitoring and trend tracking
• Observes and complies with all company specific site safety programs
• Assists the Site Safety Officer with accident/incident investigations
• Finds the root cause and suggests improvements
• Works independently and conducts tasks with limited supervision

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar type degree required
• Four years of engineering experience or similar trade; Construction field experience preferred
• Experience with surveying or CAD
• Experience using a GPS unit to layout and check working grades
• Demonstrates progressive increase in financial/supervisory accountability and authority
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Project
• Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively with little or no direct supervision
• Must possess multi-tasking skills

Additional Information

Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
