Site Observation Technician

About the role

The Site Observation Technician position at Benchmark Group is open to dynamic, talented individuals with a strong background in the Construction or A/E industry. The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or GED, understanding of the construction or A/E industry, and preferably relevant work experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction, or a related field. Experience with REVIT platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys and feasibility studies to collect and verify client and site information, including preliminary conditions, design needs, requirements, and costs.
• Document site conditions for upcoming projects.
• Read and interpret design documents.
• Identify code issues.
• Assist in cross-discipline observations.
• Travel extensively to project sites.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Understanding of the Construction or A/E industry.
• Preferably applicable work experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
• Experience with REVIT platforms (preferred).

Skills

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, creativity, attention to detail, and a desire to travel.
