Site Manager - MIA Airport

Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations and maintenance activities for Baggage Handling Systems (BHS).
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure maximum equipment uptime and contract compliance.
- Cookordination workforce scheduling, work orders, and emergency response activities.
- Maintain strong communication and relationships with airport authorities, airlines, TSA, and customers.
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Supervise administrative functions including reporting, invoicing, staffing, and performance management.
- Mentor, train, and support supervisors and technicians to drive employee engagement and operational success.
- Monitor operational performance, customer satisfaction, and resource utilization to achieve site goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or applicable field and five years of supervisory or managerial experience in an airport operations or maintenance environment OR nine years of supervisory or managerial experience in an airport operations or maintenance environment.
- Ability to obtain necessary TSA and airport security clearance.
- Ability to be on-call and work occasional evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Background in operations, facility maintenance, administration, finance, and safety preferred.
- Experience working within a large airport hub environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, airport safety standards, and maintenance best practices.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Computer Skills with knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, project management and understanding of CMMS.
- Strong leadership abilities, coupled with demonstrated organizational, participative management, and verbal and written communication skills.
Skills
- Good close, proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Good hand / eye coordination is required.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $82,900.00 - $134,300.00. The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
