Safety & Compliance

Safety & Compliance Champion a Zero Harm culture through active and visible safety leadership.
Ensure compliance with Huntsman standards and all applicable federal, California, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Provide executive oversight for emergency preparedness, environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance, and site security.
Serve as the site's Ethics and Compliance Officer and reinforce Huntsman's Business Conduct Guidelines.
Ensure contractors, visitors, and employees consistently meet site safety and compliance expectations.

Operational Excellence & Delivery

Lead daily manufacturing operations across Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering.
Improve reliability, asset utilization, productivity, and operational discipline.
Partner with Supply Chain, Product Development, Logistics, and commercial teams to support customer commitments, new product introductions, and capacity expansion.
Drive operational decisions using performance metrics to improve safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.

Financial & Business Leadership

Provide accountability for site financial performance, including operating budgets, capital expenditures, and P&L results.
Manage capital investment planning and execution.
Align site objectives with regional and corporate business priorities while improving profitability and operational performance.

People Leadership & Culture

Lead, coach, and develop the Site Leadership Team while fostering accountability, collaboration, and employee engagement.
Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and succession plans.
Promote a culture of inclusion, continuous learning, ownership, and high performance.
Partner with HR and functional leaders to support talent development and workforce planning.

Strategy & Continuous Improvement

Translate business strategy into site execution plans.
Lead transformational initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem solving.
Champion continuous improvement across all site functions.

Stakeholder & External Partnerships

Represent the site with regulatory agencies, customers, contractors, community stakeholders, and corporate leadership.
Lead or support audits, inspections, and external reviews while maintaining strong partnerships.

Pay & Benefits

Salary: $175,000–$220,000 annually.

401k – Huntsman automatically contributes 6% of eligible pay; company will match $1 for every $1 contributed up to a maximum of 4%
