Manager

About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience on every visit. They provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift. They may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and assisting their assigned Departments in achieving their goals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure efficient operation and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and policies.
• Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Monitor safety and security measures.
• Manage inventory and daily maintenance.
• Train and supervise the crew.
• Ensure exceptional customer service.
• Meet and exceed targets set for the shift.
• Support the assigned Departments in achieving their goals.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• A positive attitude and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• A flexible schedule and the ability to work in a dynamic, energetic team environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be eligible for this role.
