About the role

This position provides leadership for daily and strategic business processes, including policy development, customer satisfaction and acquisition, operational improvement, production scheduling, staff selection and development, and facility/business growth and expansion. Decisions of the General Manager directly impact the success of the business.

Responsibilities

• In conjunction with Senior Management, establish challenging targets for improvement in all areas of the business.
• Provide leadership in operational scheduling by setting production priorities.
• Maintain and strengthen supply chain resources and vendor relationships.
• Review and report ongoing company performance to stakeholders.
• Promote a cooperative, harmonious, and successful work environment.
• Develop and manage standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, and safety.
• Maintain production metrics for internal reporting.
• Direct supervision of 6 positions and overall responsibility for the entire staff.
• Analyze internal and external data to make recommendations for strategic planning.

Qualifications

• College degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of management experience in a relevant environment.

• Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
