About the role
This position provides leadership for daily and strategic business processes, including policy development, customer satisfaction and acquisition, operational improvement, production scheduling, staff selection and development, and facility/business growth and expansion. Decisions of the General Manager directly impact the success of the business.
Responsibilities
- In conjunction with Senior Management, establish challenging targets for improvement in all areas of the business.
- Provide leadership in operational scheduling by setting production priorities.
- Maintain and strengthen supply chain resources and vendor relationships.
- Review and report ongoing company performance to stakeholders.
- Promote a cooperative, harmonious, and successful work environment.
- Develop and manage standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, and safety.
- Maintain production metrics for internal reporting.
- Direct supervision of 6 positions and overall responsibility for the entire staff.
- Analyze internal and external data to make recommendations for strategic planning.
Requirements

Qualifications
- College degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of management experience in a relevant environment.

- Ability to respond in a professional manner to common inquiries.
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
