Site Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician performs facility, equipment, and ground maintenance in support of the engineering department.

Day in the life

• Performs painting and building and/or ground maintenance
• Complies with safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work areas
• Uses carpentry, plumbing, flooring, pipe insulation, and concrete work as needed
• Performs all other duties as assigned
• Establishes and maintains effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public
• Communicates effectively
• Acts as a team player and interacts with staff at all levels of the company
• Works under pressure, meets deadlines, and is flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrates excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 to 3 years related training and/or experience preferred
• Associate's degree or trade school certification preferred
