We are seeking a qualified individual with industry experience. Reporting directly to the Chief Building Engineer or the Account Manager-Engineering, the HVAC Maintenance Technician will be tasked with general maintenance and repairs of facility equipment and property structures, as well as grounds maintenance. Candidates must pass a background check, possess a valid Hawaii driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, previous hands-on maintenance experience, proficiency in light plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, and painting/drywall, all tasks must be performed in accordance with EPA, Hazmat, and OSHA safety regulations. Excellent communication skills and the capability to work independently or collaboratively within a team are crucial. This position involves a range of skilled maintenance tasks, responding to service requests, identifying maintenance concerns, and completing work in a timely, professional manner, all while upholding HBM’s standards of quality and customer service. Key Responsibilities: Experience in commercial building maintenance, grounds maintenance or a similar trade is preferred.Proficient understanding of fundamental electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair techniques.Ensure that mechanical equipment and systems are functioning properly and repaired as needed.Capability to independently troubleshoot maintenance issues.Strong work ethic, dependability, and dedication to providing high-quality serviceProvide excellent customer service while interacting with co-workers, property managers, vendors, and customers.Engage in constant movement, including standing, walking, bending, and stretching throughout shifts.Carry, push, pull and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)Conduct general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep.Troubleshoot and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and other facility components.Complete work orders promptly while adhering to high standards of craftsmanship.Perform routine site inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.Keep tools, equipment, and work areas safe and organized.Communicate effectively with supervisors, property management, and customers.Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.Maintain detailed records of completed work and materials utilizedValid Hawaii Drivers License is preferred.
