Site Lead & Global Office Services
Overview
IST Management is seeking an experienced Site Lead & Global Office Services professional to support a premier corporate client in Columbia, Maryland. This leadership role serves as the primary point of contact for workplace services operations while coordinating office services initiatives across a global office portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in workplace services, hospitality, facilities support, employee experience, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
Lead daily workplace services operations and serve as the primary liaison between IST leadership and Client stakeholders
Supervise, coach, and support on-site workplace services personnel
Cookstaff schedules and coverage to ensure uninterrupted service delivery
Monitor service performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Support workplace projects and operational priorities as assigned
Oversee reception, visitor management, and employee experience programs
Manage conference room operations, meeting support, and catering coordination
Ensure meeting spaces, common areas, and workplace amenities meet established standards
Coordinate office events, hospitality services, and workplace support activities
Foster a welcoming and professional workplace environment
Coordinate office moves, workstation setups, furniture reconfigurations, and workplace projects
Maintain office, pantry, and workplace supply inventories
Support workplace safety and building operations initiatives
Cover service requests and follow-through with internal and external partners
Oversee mail, shipping, receiving, package, and courier operations
Coordinate vendor relationships and service providers
Partner with building management and contractors to support workplace operations
Assist with contract administration and service-level oversight
Support document retention and disposal programs
Coordinate workplace services activities across multiple office locations
Aid in workplace communications, reporting, and documentation
Prepare operational reports, service metrics, and status updates
Maintain project documentation and workplace records
Support initiatives focused on workplace experience, sustainability, and operational excellence
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED
An associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Facilities Management, Operations, or a related field
Five or more years of workplace services, office management, facilities support, hospitality, or corporate services experience
Three or more years of supervisory or team leadership experience
Experience managing conference room operations, hospitality programs, and workplace support services
Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and service providers
Strong customer service, communication, and relationship management skills
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
Experience with workplace technology platforms, visitor management systems, and service ticketing platforms
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and operate independently in a dynamic environment
Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed office environments
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Occasional work outside standard business hours to support operational needs
Ability to respond to urgent workplace issues when required
