Roles with similar names at other companies can be far more mundane, but here, you're a creative, organized customer service specialist who takes pride in seeing things run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Learn more about benefits at Google.
  • Direct efforts to perform compliance activities for a data center and analyze compliance results for data centers globally.
  • Ensure regional and global teams are complying with project/schedule guidelines and Google design standards.
  • Oversee efforts to monitor data center systems operations, control site activities to minimize risk, and to ensure effective response to any excursions.
  • Oversee efforts to ensure all sites are following facility, maintenance, and standard programs globally while exhibiting strength in improvement to said policies and programs.
  • Incorporate domain expertise and experience to deliver an improved data center design to optimize equipment and operations for next generation data centers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience managing technical teams in charge of operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and controls infrastructure and components.
  • 3 years of experience in developing and managing managers.

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related Engineering field.
  • Experience collaborating with other business units to meet company goals and standards.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

Pay

US: $205,000 - $285,000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
