Site Forklift Technician

About the role

The Forklift Technician at Concentric, LLC is responsible for maintaining and repairing various industrial mobile equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, tuggers, floor scrubbers, and golf carts. This position requires troubleshooting equipment failures, completing repairs according to manufacturer guidelines, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain industrial mobile equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, including root cause analysis.
• Complete all repairs of equipment in a timely manner and by the manufacturer’s repair guidelines.
• Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate course of action.
• Perform audits on equipment audits per the PM Planning tools schedule in Field Connect service platform.
• Provide information to supervisor, co-workers, and subordinates by phone, in writing, e-mail, or in person.
• Timely and accurate completion of all work orders and service records per the Concentric time standard.
• Maintain accurate and timely entry of work hours in Paylocity time keeping platform.
• Safety: All work must be completed in a safe manner. Adhere to safety requirements by customer and Concentric. Work areas will be maintained to ensure safety. Work areas will be kept clean and organized daily.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• A High School or GED Diploma.
• Experience as a material handling equipment mechanic.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to organize work and work independently, with limited supervision.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices.
• Ability to clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer needs.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments toward the greater good of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word and Web Based Reporting Modules.
• Capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently with a sense of urgency.
