Site Foreman/ Pipe Foreman/ Pipelayer/ Equipment Operator/ Laborer
Summary Of Position
Kinsley is currently seeking multiple personnel for our growing Civil Site and Pipe crews based in North East, MD. Positions include Site Foreman, Pipe Foreman, Pipelayers, Equipment Operators, and Laborers. These roles focus on underground utility projects, including water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer installations, in locations around the North East, MD area.

Typical Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- SITE FOREMAN:
- Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individuals.
- Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors.
- Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
- Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete the job.
- Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs.
- Pipe Foreman:
- Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individuals.
- Supervise the installation of new pipes in trench for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains.
- Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors.
- Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
- Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete the job.
- Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs.
- Pipelayer:
- Install new pipes for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains in prepared trenches.
- Ensure pipes are aligned properly and positioned on grade and on line.
- Afford assistance with backfilling and operate compaction equipment as needed.
- Recognize and mitigate job site hazards.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed to support the crew.
- EQUIPMENT OPERATOR:
- Operate equipment in compliance with Kinsley’s safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure company equipment is maintained and in good running condition by greasing and checking fluids.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all aspects of construction.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
- Laborer:
- Assist in backfilling and running compaction equipment.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards.
- Use various hand and power tools.
- Afford assistance with removal of fine grade stones along curb lines and sidewalks.
- Take and understand instructions from crew leaders.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- SITE FOREMAN:
- Minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience is required.
- Must possess knowledge of GPS systems.
- Ability to follow and enforce all correct safety procedures.
- Pipe Foreman:
- Minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience is required.
- Must possess knowledge of GPS systems.
- Ability to follow and enforce all correct safety procedures.
- Pipelayer:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience is required.
- Ability to work in a crew-based and fast-paced environment.
- Punctuality and dependability are required.
- EQUIPMENT OPERATOR:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience is required.
- Ability to work in a crew-based and fast-paced environment.
- Punctuality and dependability are required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
