Site Director - Before and After School Program
About the role
AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day. For those with experience supporting students, the Site Director role offers the opportunity to lead a meaningful before and after school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive. This is a part‑time leadership position that fits around the school day, allowing you to have fun with kids while making a difference.
Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
- Oversee and facilitate curriculum implementation, ensuring activities meet program expectations
- Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
- Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
- Supervise and mentor the site team, providing coaching and feedback and ensuring training requirements are met
- Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
- Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
- At least 3 years of experience in a school‑age program or teaching setting preferred
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
Pay
Starting at $22/hour
Schedule
6:00‑8:00 am & 2:30‑6:00 pm
