Job Duties
- Oversee the management of site services
- Design & implement special projects
- Develop & submit proposals and applications for funding
- Research & identify new funding sources
- Ensure compliance with all current grant and contract requirements
- Track all expenditures and maintain a balanced budget
- Hire, supervise, evaluate, and develop supervisory program staff
- Facilitate regularly scheduled staff meetings and training
- Collect, review, and evaluate client statistics
- Advocate for the needs of veterans and advise internal stakeholders
- Participate in local networking and community collaborative activities
- Work collaboratively with government agencies
- Maintain a seat on local Continuum of Care board and/or community committees
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in organizational management, budget development, and staff supervision
- Knowledge of laws and ethics involved in behavioral health services
- Knowledge of government and non-profit employment, training, and housing programs
- Advanced computer skills and familiarity with O365
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to research, organize, and write proposals for grants
- Ability to access and understand state and federal laws and regulations relevant to Nation’s Finest programs
- Ability to organize and interpret data and information related to clients and programs
- Strong leadership ability with adherence to Nation’s Finest philosophy of servant leadership and extreme ownership
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to travel to and from program sites, client residences, and community partner locations as required
- Ability to conduct or oversee outreach and engagement activities in a variety of environments
- Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to perform job duties, complete documentation, and interact with clients and staff
Work Environment
- This role is not remote eligible
- Work will be conducted primarily from a Nation’s Finest location in a team-oriented office environment
- Travel may be required up to 10% to conduct tasks as directed
