Job Purpose And Function In this key role, the Site Director oversees the day-to-day operations of High Purity New England (HPNE). The director works to ensure optimized CoGS, lead time and end-to-end production flow within HPNE operations. This position manages the leaders of Production, Production Support, Warehouse, Logistics, Procurement/Materials and Customer Service departments. This leadership position is responsible for setting the operational strategies, improving performance, managing the workflow, setting and adhering to budgets, leading negotiations with vendors and suppliers, ensuring compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Duties And Responsibilities The responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead, motivate, evaluate, and support teams across functions within a time-sensitive and demanding environmentEnsure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, compliant, and cost-effective wayImprove operational management systems, processes, and best practicesCommunicate customer issues with the teams and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolution of problems and complaintsManage inventory planning and control, order fulfillment, and storage optimizationOversee and optimize operational efficiency through Getinge’s Manufacturing Excellence programEnsure equipment is properly maintained and upgraded as neededEnsure the organization’s processes remain legally compliantFormulate and execute strategic and operational objectivesExamine financial data to optimize processes, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and improve profitabilityCollaborate with other departments to ensure company procedures and operational workflows are being followedManage budgetsHandle changes in resource allocationsOversee all strategic ERP workflows Required Skills And Abilities Proven track record of production leadershipSolid understanding of operation management and organizational effectivenessStrong understanding of lean supply chain management, logistics, and demand planning principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-makingManage multiple priorities and shift demands as neededExcellent organizational and planning skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staffStrong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsStrong conflict resolution skills Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or other related field requiredAdvanced degree preferredMinimum of 5-8 years of related operations experience requiredMinimum of 5 years managing experienceExperience with managing complex and high variation production flowKnowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards (GMP)Understanding of cleanroom productionExperience with ISO 9001 requiredProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience of lean and flow‑based productionERP experience (Epicor experience - preferred) Supervision/Management Of Others Responsible for Production, Production Support, Warehouse, Logistics, Materials, Client Services and ERP Team Members Salary range: $210-220k plus bonus targeted at 30% (depending on overall company performance) About Us With a firm belief that every person and community should have access to the best possible care, Getinge provides hospitals and life science institutions with products and solutions aiming to improve clinical results and optimize workflows.
