Site Deployment Engineer
About the role
We’re building Portals — custom communication pods deployed in libraries and public spaces to expand access to essential services. These private, technology-enabled spaces allow people in underserved communities to attend telehealth appointments, take exams, access government services, and connect securely online when they otherwise wouldn’t have a safe or reliable environment. This role supports the successful delivery and installation of Portals in customer environments alongside the Deployment & Field Operations Lead.

- Help ensure each Portal is operational prior to customer handoff

- Support coordination of installation logistics and site readiness
- Work alongside local contractors or installation teams during deployments
- Help maintain installation checklists, tools, and deployment equipment
- Document deployment outcomes, issues, and lessons learned
