About the role
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County & Southern Utah seeks a dedicated and energetic Site Coordinator to lead an afterschool program that provides a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for youth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily afterschool program operations.
- Plan and oversee engaging programs that support academic success, healthy lifestyles, and leadership development.
- Supervise, train, coach, and support site staff and volunteers.
- Maintain enrollment, attendance, and grant compliance records.
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for youth and staff.
- Build strong partnerships with school administrators, families, and community members.
- Manage site budgets, supplies, and program resources.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.
- Collect and utilize program data to improve quality and participant outcomes.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of youth development principles and practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- CPR/First Aid Certification and Food Handler Permit (or ability to obtain within three months).
- Valid driver's license if operating organization vehicles.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Experience working with youth ages 5-18, experience supervising staff or volunteers, proficiency with Google Workspace and general computer applications.
Benefits
- Flexible schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 1:00 PM-6:00 PM (hours will vary by site).
- Competitive pay: $23-$28 per hour.
- Season: August-May, with summer opportunities available in some locations.
