Site Controller

Job Title: Site Controller - Huntersville Overview: NSI is searching for a Site Controller who will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our Huntersville distribution site. The Site Controller will help ensure compliance with accounting principles, internal controls, and company policies along with site metric reporting and special projects as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in a manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include: Managing financial reporting activities, including monthly financial statements, management reports, and ad hoc analysisOverseeing financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting and variance analysisMonitoring and controlling site financial performance, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize financial resultsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies, and external regulationsManaging intercompany transactions, inventory valuation, variance analysis and cycle countsProviding leadership and guidance to finance staff, ensuring the development of a high-performing teamManaging relationships with external auditors and supporting audit requestsSupporting capital expenditure planning, financial modeling, and analysisProcess improvementProject management Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or FinanceMinimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environmentCPA or CMA certification preferredHighly skilled in MS Excel (pivot tables, Vlookup, etc.) and the ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reportsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailDemonstrated experience in financial modeling and analysisDemonstrated ability to lead and develop a teamUnderstanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Proactive problem solver willing to take initiative to offer solutions and identify opportunities before being asked.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities _______________ _ _ _ _ _ _ Benefits: NSI Industries offers a competitive salary, performance-based and attendance bonuses for certain roles.
