Site Civil Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Lead design teams on land development projects, including site layout, grading, erosion control, stormwater management, utility design, and related engineering calculations and reports.
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and maintain client relationships while supporting business development, marketing, and proposal efforts.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level staff.
- Collaborate with department leadership and Dewberry offices nationwide to expand services, strengthen existing client relationships, and deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in the design and management of land development and capital improvement projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina or Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) license required, or ability to obtain NC licensure within two months of hire.
- Strong proficiency with: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Stormwater modeling software, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, project budgets, and schedules.
- Experience providing technical oversight and mentorship to engineering staff.
- Experience coordinating permits, project submittals, and regulatory agency approvals.
