Site Calibration Lead
Roles And Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee daily gauge and torque tool calibrations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Actively participate in troubleshooting, measurement tasks, and hands-on technical work.
- Manage all administrative duties required to meet contract obligations.
- Maintain and update procedures, work instructions, and documentation used in daily operations.
- Build a strong team environment through clear communication, coaching, and real-time feedback.
- Prepare and deliver Monthly Quality Reports to management.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for customer requests and special projects.
- Ensure all services align with ISO-9000 / AS9100 or customer-required standards.
- Provide on-the-job training, technical guidance, and leadership to T&G personnel.
- Maintain 5S standards in all TGH-managed areas.
Qualifications And Skills
- Associate’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience; automotive or manufacturing background preferred.
- Prior leadership experience is helpful, but strong technical capability and willingness to lead from the front is essential.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external customers.
- Ability to solve practical problems, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, continuous-improvement mindset.
- Solid technical foundation—experience in precision metrology is ideal, but backgrounds in electronics, medical device manufacturing, food and drug manufacturing, or other precision-driven industries are also valued.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025, ASME B89, and ISO 9001 is preferred.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic computer applications.
- Strong mathematical skills.
Physical And Environmental Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment up to 25 lbs.
- Manual dexterity for handling small tools and precision instruments.
- Adherence to all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
