SIT / Professional Land Surveyor in Training

About the role

Sliger & Associates Inc. is a Port Orange, FL-based land surveying and engineering services firm with over 50 years of family ownership. They are seeking a drug-free, experienced, and hardworking individual to join their team in the position of SIT / Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS or PSM) / Senior Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Quickly adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Work directly with Construction Services projects, Land Development, Design, Wetlands & ALTA surveys
• Meet tight deadlines and efficiently manage time
• Set job budgets for crews and CADD
• Achieve superior accuracy in a high-volume environment
• Research and resolve discrepancies
• Show impeccable organization skills
• Manage multiple crews and CADD technicians, providing daily task direction
• Adapt and perform without daily supervision
• Present professionally with office management and clients

Requirements

• Mastery of AutoCAD / Carlson surveying software
• Mastery of Windows OS and all MS Office products
• Able to accurately estimate bids and calculate job profitability
• Superior accuracy in a high-volume environment
• Problem-solving skills
• Impeccable organizational skills
• Ability to manage several crews and CADD technicians
• Professional demeanor and communication skills
