Single Room Occupancy (SRO ) Manager

STEL, Inc. is the Chautauqua—Allegheny region's leading and largest mental health residential rehabilitation and support provider. We seek caring, empathetic, and energetic people to join our team of professionals and support our mission of assisting people in recovery from mental illness. This is a full‑time, permanent SRO Manager position located onsite in Jamestown, NY.

Responsibilities

• Supervises counselors and staff and oversees service implementation within residential rehabilitation programs.
• Provides rehabilitative and restorative services to residents.
• Provides case management using the AWARDS tool.
• Monitors residents’ daily activities to ensure a safe and equitable environment.
• Teaches and coaches residents on the skills, abilities, and confidence needed for independent living.
• Manages medication and supervises its administration.
• Assists residents with managing medical and therapy appointments.
• Maintains cleanliness of the residence.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree in Human Services or a related field.
• Minimum one (1) year of practical experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance abuse, or vulnerable populations.
• Good knowledge of methods used in the day‑to‑day operations of a supervised community residence for the mentally disabled.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving
