Simulation Training Facility

About the Facility

A new 6,000-square-foot building dedicated to the Army National Guard’s simulation training and skill development. The facility will house the Squad Advanced Marksmanship Trainer (SAM-T), a Training-as-a-Service (TaaS) solution designed to enhance army readiness and address the dismounted virtual collective training capability gap until the Soldier/Squad Virtual Trainer (S/SVT) is fielded in FY21.

The facility must support flexible staging of three-dimensional projection screens and props to create simulated battle environments. Given the rapid evolution of simulation technology, the building’s infrastructure must be forward-compatible to accommodate a wide range of future simulation and virtual training equipment needs.
