Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and evaluates simulation-based educational programs for healthcare professionals, including physicians, residents, nurses, and pre-hospital personnel.
  • Provides logistical support and collaborates with departments to enhance simulation training.
  • Serves as a resource for teaching strategies and assists in policy development.
  • Coordinates community outreach initiatives and supports research activities, including data collection and analysis.
  • Maintains simulation equipment, troubleshoots technical issues, and manages audiovisual operations.
  • Facilitates faculty development and drafts educational materials.
  • Identifies funding opportunities for grants and research projects.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with at least 3 years of clinical experience in critical care.
  • Current RN license in Illinois.
  • CPR/BLS certification; preferred certifications include ACLS, ALS, and PALS.
  • Experience in simulation preferred.
  • Strong collaboration, troubleshooting, and educational skills.
