Major Job Duties and Tasks
- Manage, coordinate, and deliver education programs utilizing simulation resources
- Manage all aspects of simulation activities, including but not limited to: set up, clean up, facilitation of simulation activities including role play, instruction, and orientation for participants
- Serves as resource, coach, mentor for clinicians, customers, and stakeholders who support, facilitate, or co-facilitate simulation-based activities
- Collaborates with stakeholders, conducts needs assessments, designs, and develops simulation-based curricula
- Coordinates activity and use of simulation equipment and space on behalf of HealthPartners Clinical Simulation
- Analyzes simulation activities and provides real-time feedback for quality, safety, and effectiveness of care
- Includes debriefing of participant performance and validating skills
- Assess, design, develop scenarios and evaluate curricula for simulation programs, activities, and events
- Manages data and research activities
- Attends departmental meetings and/or meetings on behalf of the department
- Projects as requested
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time
- Must have manual dexterity to navigate equipment and computer
- Must have full range of motion to push, pull, bend, kneel, reach overhead repetitively
- Ability to drive a cargo van without modifications
Environmental Conditions
- May be exposed to a variety of weather conditions while transporting equipment
- May be exposed to biological tissues
- Potential exposure to cleaning solutions
- Exposure to latex within the simulators

- Patient simulators/task trainers
- Cardiac monitors/defibrillators
- Ventilators, oxygen tanks, other healthcare equipment found in patient care delivery settings (including medical sharps)
- A wide range of AV equipment including LCD projector, digital camera, video camera, AV console
- Personal computers and personal computer-based equipment
- Multi-line telephone, fax, copier
