About the role
Support digital wargaming for military applications as a Simulation Developer.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain simulation models and environments using various programming languages and tools.
- Integrate models into system architectures.
- Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to improve simulation fidelity.
- Implement new features, test, troubleshoot, and validate models.
- Plan and document simulation projects, including data collection and stakeholder coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with at least 7 years of simulation or game development experience (10 years without a degree).
- Proficiency in C++, C#, Python, or Java.
- Experience with simulation platforms such as AFSIM, NGTS, Unity, or Unreal Engine.
- Familiarity with version control and collaborative workflows.
- Must hold a current TS/SCI security clearance.
- Ability to perform occasional manual labor, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate effectively in presentations and team interactions.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of military modeling and simulation principles, mission engineering, or wargaming.
- Experience with 3D graphics, physics engines, or database systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
