This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality product output by adhering to safety protocols, interpreting blueprints, and operating machinery effectively. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of sheet metal variations, the ability to use precision measurement tools, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Work Model

1st shift
7:00am-3:30pm

What you'll do

  • Adheres to company safety policies and programs such as Personal Protective Equipment, Incident/Injury Reporting, Hazard Communication and Labeling.
  • Notifies supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions immediately.
  • May help train new employees as required.
  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow company safety policies, including PPE use and incident reporting.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production and match print to router and pink ticket.
  • Meet production deadlines and maintain product quality standards.
  • Locate and prepare materials for manufacturing tasks.
  • Pull proper screen for the job.
  • Able to verify that the screen matches the print.
  • Able to set up the screening process on segmented parts (wrapper interiors, for example).
  • Able to identify GTIN and lot numbers in all areas when applicable.
  • Use and read calipers in both metric and standard measurements.
  • Identify and differentiate various types of sheet metal.
  • Ensure proper screen alignment with print specifications.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
  • Train new employees as needed.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs individually and participate in team lifts up to 75 lbs.
  • Follow routers and production documentation accurately.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or product discrepancies to supervisors.
  • All other duties as applied.

Requirements

  • Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills/Competencies: 5+ years of Silkscreen experience and/or training. 3+ Years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
