What You'll Do
- Set up and operate silkscreen machinery to print designs and markings on parts and products
- Prepare screens, inks, and stencils, ensuring accurate alignment and setup
- Apply serial numbers, logos, and identifiers per customer drawings, blueprints, and engineering specs
- Design and use fixtures for screening and airbrushing setups
- Track finished part counts and maintain accurate production and quality records
- Monitor ink, solvent, and supply inventory, reordering as needed
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas after use
- Record production data on computers and travelers, and route parts to the next department
- Report discrepancies or quality issues to your supervisor promptly
- Follow all safety and hazard procedures
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in silkscreen printing or part marking in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with trade tools and techniques, including measuring tools (calipers, scales, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Good manual dexterity for working with intricate products
- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to follow complex, detailed instructions
- Comfort handling industrial chemicals safely
- Familiarity with quality standards (ISO9001/AS9100) a plus
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Basic Math Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
