About the role
The Sign Technician position at the Murray County Public Works Department is responsible for all county signs. Duties include installation, removal, repairs, maintenance of county road signs, ensuring compliance with MUTCD standards, and fabricating road name, regulatory, warning, construction, and other signs as needed.
Responsibilities
- Install, remove, and repair county road signs
- Maintain county sign inventory
- Create signs using in-house software
- Ensure all county signs meet MUTCD standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
- Ability to operate software for sign design

- Software proficiency for sign creation
