Sign production & install assistant

About the role

Initial focus will be on learning installation procedures and techniques to safely install or replace channel letters, pylon faces, post & panel signs, LED signs, and more. During this time, you will start conducting site surveys to identify equipment and labor time required to complete the work. You will also receive training in working with vinyl, including operating large-format printers and installing vinyl on walls, windows, and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Install or replace channel letters, pylon faces, post & panel signs, LED signs, and other signage
• Conduct site surveys to assess equipment and labor requirements
• Operate large-format printers
• Install vinyl on walls, windows, and vehicles
• Dig post holes and pour concrete
• Use hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, saws, tape measures, levels, and other manual, electric, and pneumatic tools
• Maintain professional relationships with customers

Requirements

• Driver’s License (Required)
• US work authorization (Required)
• 1+ year of experience with installations
• Comfortable working on tall ladders
• Experience applying vinyl to windows and walls
• Experience using hand tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience conducting pre-install site surveys
• Ability to operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts
• Electrician certification (a plus)
