About the role
Sign Language Interpreter supporting K-12 students in educational settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and virtual ASL/English interpreting for students, teachers, and school events.
- Ensure Deaf and hard-of-hearing students have full access to classroom instruction, IEP meetings, and school activities.
- Collaborate with educators and clinicians to adapt services to meet diverse learning needs.
- Utilize secure virtual platforms for remote interpreting as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in ASL and English interpretation.
- Ability to adapt services for various learning environments and needs.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience with virtual interpreting platforms is preferred.
