Sign Language Interpreter

Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Educational Sign Language Interpreter to provide 1:1 interpreting services for a high school student in Gary, Indiana. This position is available for the school year and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring the student has full access to classroom instruction and school activities.

• Setting: High School
• Service Model: One-on-one student support
• Employment Type: In-person preferred
• Remote Option: Qualified remote interpreters will be considered if they hold an active Indiana educator license

Pay

$30.00/hour, based on experience

Requirements

• Active Indiana Educator License required
• Experience providing sign language interpreting services in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
