Sign Design and Production Specialist

Your primary responsibility will be to create computer generated vinyl and/or full color graphics output that can be weeded, cut, and applied or printed and mounted to a substrate. Create technical drawings for sign manufacturing & local government permitting. Create routing & laser engraving files and possibly.
You will work closely with fellow team members to ensure complete customer satisfaction with the final product. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and who is determined to make every project his or her absolute best.
Responsibilities
- Prepares comprehensive illustrations, sketches, layouts, and copy for print reproduction according to instructions of client or supervisor.
- Inspects jobs for accuracy before sending them to the plotter or printer.
- Performs customer logo maintenance and sourcing.
- Creates proofs and sends to customers using the online proofing system.
- Works on different projects simultaneously.
- Establishes and maintains effective team relationships with all support departments.
- Fulfills print functions on roll to roll and/or flatbed.
- Affords assistance with production when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous sign or print industry experience a plus.
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
- Other software a plus: Photoshop, FlexiSign, RasterLink, EngraveLab, Enroute, & Corel.
- Experience in the following equipment is a plus: UV & Latex Roll to Roll printers, Flatbed printers, Laser and Rotary Engravers and routers.
- Additional experience in this technology is a plus: ink layering with roll to roll or flatbed, specialty print film types used for high end print/display projects.

$38,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
