Side Street Projects is a mobile, artist-run organization that supports artists, projects, and programs to foster leadership through socially engaged art and a DIY (Do it yourself) & DIT (Do it together) ethos. Side Street Projects is devoted to artist and community-led programming that promotes creativity, wellbeing, and the potential for collective growth with a focus on the justice-impacted communities of Altadena, Pasadena and Los Angeles County. The organization is known for efficiency, innovation, scrappiness and professionalism where creative problem solving, self-reliance, and interdependence are trademarks. Side Street Project's facilities are restored vintage trailers, converted buses, and modified shipping containers. Our assets are made accessible to staff, artists and the community for maximum impact.
