Shuttle Van Driver

Western Express Shuttle Drivers are responsible for safely transporting riders in company vehicles to predetermined destinations. Shuttle Drivers play an integral role in the Western Express orientation process and serve as direct representatives of the company and our community. Our drivers are expected to provide safe, reliable, courteous, and professional transportation while creating a positive experience for every rider. This position requires initiative, sound judgment, attention to detail, effective time management, and strong customer service skills. For many of the individuals you transport, you are more than simply a driver—you may be their first face-to-face interaction with Western Express. As a result, your professionalism, appearance, attitude, and conduct are an important reflection of our company.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license with no at-fault accidents within the past two years.
• Must possess a valid P (Passenger) endorsement on their driver's license.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and comply with random drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must demonstrate a proactive, helpful, and positive can-do attitude, with the flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and routes.
• Must be neat, organized, dependable, and capable of working independently.
• Must demonstrate a welcoming and professional demeanor when interacting with riders.
• Previous rideshare, passenger transportation, or shuttle-driving experience is preferred.
• Must possess strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must consistently demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and respect toward riders, coworkers, and company representatives.

Due to the collaborative nature of the work environment, the spontaneous need for idea generation and execution, and the potential for expedited remediations, responses, or information gathering, in-person, in-office attendance is an essential function of this position.
