Shuttle Driver

About the role

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Shuttle Drivers for full-time and part-time opportunities to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
• Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading.
• Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
• Maintains vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms.
• Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to coordinate routes, announce arrivals and delays, pick up customers, or handle other vehicle or customer issues.
• Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions.
• Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
• Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
• Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• A valid driver's license and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• The ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
• The ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends.
• Energetic, outgoing, and capable of standing, running, and carrying items up to 50 lbs if needed.
• Able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone they meet.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and helping resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• As part of performing the duties associated with this position, the employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear.
• Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs.
• Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.

Pay

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Must have a CDL and passenger endorsement.
• Must have a DOT medical card.
