Shuttle Driver
About the role
Propark Mobility is currently hiring Shuttle Drivers for full-time opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility
- Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading
- Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations
- Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms
- Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announcing arrivals and delays, coordinating the pick-up of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise
- Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions
- Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems
- Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor
- Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner
Requirements
- You are at least 21 years old
- You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 3 years
- You have the ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently
- You have the ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
- Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed
- Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way
Preferred qualifications
- Customer service: 1 year+
- Experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle: 1 year+
Pay & schedule
- Pay Rate: $19.29 per hour plus cash tips
- Job Type: Full-time
- Location: Canopy, Commerce City, CO
- Shift & Schedule: Mornings and Evenings, Weekends & Holidays
