Shuttle Driver

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and timely shuttle service to guests, transporting them to airports, attractions, business centers, or other designated locations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading luggage as needed.
  • Greet guests warmly, provide information about the local area, and answer questions about hotel services and amenities.
  • Address and resolve any guest concerns or special requests during transit.
  • Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure it is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
  • Report any mechanical issues or damage promptly and schedule regular maintenance or repairs.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure passenger safety.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and any required certifications (e.g., commercial driving license, if applicable).
  • Log trip details, including mileage, destinations, and passenger counts.
  • Keep records of maintenance schedules and fuel expenses if required.
  • Communicate with the front desk to coordinate shuttle schedules and guest pickups.
  • Adapt to changes in guest schedules or special transportation requests.
  • Ensure the shuttle vehicle is clean, organized, and stocked with any amenities (e.g., bottled water, brochures).
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide a friendly, welcoming experience for guests.
  • Handle emergencies or unexpected situations, such as accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or medical incidents, calmly and professionally.
  • Promote the hotel’s services and offerings during interactions with guests.
  • Provide local insights and recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
  • Ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs according to the schedule, avoiding unnecessary delays.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle.
  • No recent traffic violations, accidents, or driving-related criminal offenses.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Exceptional ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent skills for engaging with guests and collaborating with team members seamlessly.

Qualifications

  • Flexibility to work weekends & holidays.
