Responsibilities
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items between stores in a safe, timely manner.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the team member is satisfied.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
- Using route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver packages to customers on time.
- When applicable, completing daily maintenance checks on company delivery vehicle and notifying manager of any issues.
- Auxiliary in any and all other store/warehouse duties (stock, parts pulling etc.) as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current, valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to meet company insurance requirements (drivers must be 21 years old or over).
- Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
- Able to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds, prolonged sitting.
- Maintain and promote workplace safety.
- Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
