Shuttle Driver
Job Description
Picking up our traffic control flaggers on a van and shuttling them to and from the jobsites.
Notifies management of any damage, maintenance and repair needs for company vehicles
Carries out repair of minor faults and report major problems, accidents, or damage to the vehicle to the dispatcher or technician
Maintains the cleanliness of shuttles and vehicles
Clean & refuel vehicles at the end of each shift
Obey all traffic rules and regulations guiding the operation of shuttle services in his/her assigned area.
Performs jobsite checks or fills in as Traffic Control Flagger throughout the day
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be 21 or over and have a current and valid driver’s license or CDL with good driving record
- Able to safely operate vehicles based on company standards and confidence in driving large vehicles
- Ability to work with a diverse team and clientele
- Dependable, on time and able to work autonomously but also as a team player
- Frequently required to stand and walk, talk and hear; climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Continually exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat or cold (non-weather)
- Continually exposed to outside weather conditions
- The employee must be able to lift up to 20 lbs
Experience
- Van driver: 1 year (Preferred)
- Commercial driving
