Pay: $19.00 / hourShift: 7pm to 7am, rotating schedule.Long Term Temporary position. Position Summary: The Shredder operator is trained to assist in several areas of production including but not limited to the packaging system, warehousing, pulp shredding, and handling equipment to safely produce quality product in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Operate all equipment necessary to properly shred raw materials and/or package finished productLoad, unload, store, sample, and transfer raw materials, finished product, and miscellaneous items Provide relief coverage to departments as assignedMaintain equipment through proper lubrication, minor repairs/adjustments; report all malfunctions and needed repairsMaintain accurate and complete recordsRoutinely sanitize and clean plant equipment and facilitiesAssist in training new shreddersPerform material handling duties in accordance with all applicable OSHA and EPA standardsEffectively communicate with all other team membersParticipate in safety, quality, and productivity 1 yr Machine Operator
