Shred Technician

Ready for a game‑changing career? As a Prime Shred Technician you will work in a production environment using tools and equipment where semi‑truck, passenger, and OTR tires are shredded through a series of manual and automated processes.

Responsibilities

• Unload casings from trailers using forklifts or other means.
• Inspect tire casings.
• Mechanical tire de‑beading.
• Unload bagging stations.
• Stack inventory and manage inventory.
• Perform quality control of finished product.
• Any other duties required by management.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Work closely in a team‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mechanical aptitude; previous manufacturing/production experience is strongly preferred but not required.
• Must follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
• Goal‑oriented and able to consistently meet quality and production requirements.
• Detail‑oriented.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift 105 lb, carry 60 lb, and push/pull 60 lb.
• Required personal protective equipment: face shield, leather gloves, long‑sleeved shirt, safety glasses with wings, ear protection, steel‑toed footwear, and ear plugs.

Schedule

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, 5:00 am – 5:00 pm day shift.
