Purpose of the position: The University of Minnesota, Morris Division of Education may need Lecturers/Assistant Professors or Teaching Specialists to teach on a short-term and/or temporary basis during the academic year.
Job duties
The primary responsibility will be teaching undergraduate courses and/or supervising teacher candidates in their clinical experiences. Some service and research activity may be expected.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or terminal degree for Lecturer/Assistant Professor; MA/MS or BA/BS for Teaching Specialists, masters preferred.
- Candidate must have academic preparation appropriate to the specialized teaching field.
- Though clear emphasis is on successful teaching, consideration will be given to scholarly attainment or other professional recognition or distinction in the teaching field.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $41,000 - $60,000 annual full-time equivalent; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
