Short-Order Cook/Shift Manager

About the role

This is an hourly position and will be rated based on experience and qualifications. You must be an energetic, personable, and highly motivated individual. You must be able to stand on your feet for up to 8 hours with minimal breaks and handle physical tasks related to restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

  • Handling the preparation of food orders as they come in from servers
  • Handling the preparation and timing between orders you prepare on the grill along with those meals prepared in the kitchen
  • Pricing
  • Food preparation for following shift
  • Customer service

Requirements

  • A minimum education level of a High School diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe Certification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word application software
  • 2+ years of food preparation experience in a fast paced restaurant atmosphere

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe Certified
  • Profound general kitchen and food prep knowledge
  • Ability to work well with others and function well as a team leader with the rest of the staff

Pay

Hourly rate will be negotiable and based on skill level and experience.
