Position Summary We are seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Shopify Web Designer / Developer to join our growing eCommerce team in Irvine, CA. This role requires a strong balance of front-end development expertise and design proficiency, with an approximate focus of 60% coding and 40% design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and optimizing Shopify storefronts, developing reusable components, and creating engaging customer experiences that drive conversion and brand consistency. This individual should be comfortable owning projects from concept through launch while collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, eCommerce, and creative teams. Job Responsibilities This role requires a balance of 60% coding expertise and 40% design proficiency to create, customize, and optimize Shopify storesDesign and build reusable Shopify sections, templates, and modular UI components to improve scalability, maintainability, and consistency across the storefrontDesign responsive, accessible, and visually consistent experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpointsDevelop and maintain branded promotional and flow emails for new product launches and marketing campaigns using KlaviyoOptimize storefront experiences for conversion, engagement, and usability through layout and UX improvementsProvide data-driven recommendations and actionable insights by gathering and identifying analytics with tools such as Google Analytics and Shopify AnalyticsDesign and develop high-converting campaign landing pages and promotional experiences aligned with marketing initiativesImplement and manage dynamic content structures using Shopify metafields, metaobjects, and custom templatesDesign and implement custom Shopify functionality in Liquid, including interactive UI components and custom page logicTake ownership of Shopify storefront initiatives from concept and design through implementation, QA, launch, and iterationSupport and develop two Shopify stores: the TP-Link D2C store serving consumers and the Omada D2B store serving business customersArchitect and build a new TP-Link D2C store from concept through launch, including information architecture, theme structure, and Online Store 2.0 setup tailored to a consumer electronics and networking audience Requirements Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field preferredAt Least 2 year experiences as a Shopify Web Designer, Shopify Developer, or similar roleStrong understanding of responsive web design, accessibility standards, UI systems, and modern front-end best practicesExperience building reusable Shopify sections, modular layouts, and scalable storefront systemsExperience working with Shopify metafields, metaobjects, dynamic sources, and custom CMS-driven content structuresUnderstanding of e-commerce UX principles, customer journey optimization, and conversion-focused design strategiesAbility to troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, such as Liquid rendering, third-party apps, or CSS conflicts Benefits Salary: $80K - $100K annually Benefits: Fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance (partial premium coverage for dependents) Contributions to 401k funds (Quarterly Employer Contributions15 days accrued vacation/ 48 hours sick 11 paid holidaysHealth and wellness benefits, including free gym membershipsQuarterly team-building events At TP-Link Systems Inc., we are continually searching for ambitious individuals who are passionate about their work.
