About the role

This position involves assembling, preparing, and producing smaller, high-demand Value Add machines according to established work instructions and visual aids. The role also includes tool operations, quality inspection, material support, and adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Safely utilize basic hand tools and power tools to install, attach, or secure parts, accessories, batteries, and labels.
  • Perform basic visual inspections to ensure machines and components are clean, complete, and free of obvious issues like visible damage before moving to the next step.
  • Absorb inventory movement within the warehouse using basic computer functions and MRP/WMS systems under direction.
  • Follow all warehouse safety regulations, maintain a highly organized workstation, and effectively communicate production or quality issues to your supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or 6+ months of relevant experience; previous warehouse, production, or assembly experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience safely operating basic manual hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to execute repetitive assembly tasks accurately, follow technical instructions/diagrams, and read basic measurements.
  • Basic computer knowledge; familiarity with SAP, Körber One WMS, or other warehouse tracking software is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment both independently and as a reliable team player to hit daily production goals.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma/GED or 6+ months of relevant experience.
  • Experience: Previous warehouse, production, or assembly experience is preferred.

Skills

  • Tool proficiency: Safe operation of basic manual hand tools and power tools.
  • Operational skills: Ability to execute repetitive assembly tasks accurately, follow technical instructions/diagrams, and read basic measurements.
  • Tech savvy: Basic computer knowledge; familiarity with warehouse tracking software.
  • Drive & collaboration: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment both independently and as a reliable team player.

Schedule

The standard work schedule is a 40-hour workweek. Overtime and weekend hours could be possible to support production.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Physical Capabilities: Must be able to perform tasks that include lifting up to 100 pounds, standing, walking, and bending for up to 10 hours daily.
  • Work Environment: Working hours are spent in a warehouse environment where the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, high places, wet/humid conditions, and extreme hot or cold weather.
