Shop Tech I - QC

About the role

As a Shop Tech I, QC Inspector, you will start on a 12-month contract. This position is onsite at the New Stanton, PA location and will report to the Sr Manager, Quality.

Responsibilities

• Organize work related to customer order deliveries including reviewing inspection files against customer requirements, completing packaging and labeling requirements, and scanning/archiving documentation packages.
• Perform inspections according to documented procedures and industry practices.
• Familiarize yourself with the inspection tools and equipment to use and use them proficiently.
• Mechanical Inspections may include physically measuring the product with measuring equipment.
• Electrical Inspections may include visual inspections per design documents.
• Crimp, Solder, and assembly verifications per design specifications and expertise standards.
• Visual Inspections include looking for defects in the product.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 2 years inspection experience required with demonstrated inspection skills.
• An understanding of the commercial nuclear industry or other regulated industry.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is estimated to be $26/hour to $26/hour, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
